About Cloth Fiber Workshop

Cloth Fiber Workshop is a textile arts learning center that offers a variety of classes and workshops for students of all experience levels. Cloth's working fiber studio lets students, artists and customers express their creativity while learning new skills. In addition, our retail shop sells organic and sustainable fabrics, yarns, notions and dyes.
Cloth Fiber Workshop was founded in 2007 by fiber artist Barbara Zaretsky.
For over 20 years Barbara has operated BZDesign, 
a
textile design and manufacturing company she started in Chicago and continued
when she moved to Asheville in 2001. Cloth's studio serves as BZDesign's
main production facility and the retail shop carries the BZDesign line
of home furnishings and wearable accessories.
